Arrived early and enjoyed the Strand area and the board walk area. It was chilly and windy on embarkation day but the port staff were great!

Beware of all the construction in the area. We made it to the ship by 1 pm but this was later than expected for us.

We didn’t have time to do anything in Galveston other than get on/off the ship. The area was clean and felt safe.

We always just go directly and board the ship, but there are things to see and do if you have the time/ interest before or after your cruise.
