We really enjoyed ourselves and would be glad to sail on the Dream again. It was on the cooler side the first 2 days but was still a heat wave compared to the weather back home in North Missouri. This was our first winter cruise and I would certainly do it again. If you are a person who isn’t fond of the heat, winter cruising is for you. Cruising is what you make it, and we choose FUN!

We ate at the steakhouse one evening and it was wonderful. The main dining room was a bit slow at times but the staff was very friendly and ensured that we got everything we ordered and were satisfied.

Our 5 year old loved camp carnival and asked when she could go back every time we picked her up. Can’t say enough about how great the staff is with the kids.

I saw people constantly cleaning in the public areas. The main theater, the dream atrium and the ocean plaza were all nice venues.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was small, we knew that it would be. The beds were comfortable and we loved the location on the Lido deck. Our only complaint was with the kids beds overhead you can not see the TV from the king size bed at all. We didn’t go on vacation to watch tv the whole time so this was a minor inconvenience.
Ship tip
It’s a big ship explore as much as you can. There are plenty of quiet spots if you look around. Make sure to check out Pig and Anchor on deck 5
Disembarkation was delayed due to fog, this was not Carnival’s fault. Had we not had faster to fun and been one of the first groups off the ship we would have missed our flight back home.

I agree! I am not fond of the heat. We are in Louisiana and love winter cruising. Some ports are hot enough in the winter. Couldn’t handle them in the summer, or the heat on the ship decks. It’s nice on deck when the sun is out, but on a partly cloudy day, one needs a blanket to cover up when the clouds pass under the sun. But stay put, cuz in about a minute to 15 mins, the sun will peak again!! LOL
