We got lucky because we had the most amazing views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty from our own private balcony (Port side). This was the end of our trip and we didn't do an excursion, but it was a super-easy and short Lyft ride to the Newark Airport.

Uber does not go in the area. Taxis to Ny are very expensive and there is only one contracted company. You have to pay close to 100 dollars to get to Grand central station, 42 street, Ny . MAFIA ALERT!!!!

Our airport shuttle was a beat up minivan with no name on it, Windows spray painted and garage throughout. Our driver took us through back streets that seemed a little shady. Needless to say it was not the welcome we expected. Did file a complaint and were reimbursed with on board credits.

Took an Uber there from my home and it cost me 16 bucks. Got a cab to go home from there and they charged me over $60 for the same ride. I called the City of Bayonne and they weren’t interested. It’s a port thing. So the ship lines don’t give a crap about you once you step off the ship!
