A: (part 1) In the NY metro area transport other than mass transit is very expensive, no way around it. Rideshares spend more time on the surge pricing schedule than on "standard". Taxis & car services have very high ins. rates + million $ medallion fee... s, that trickles down to the customer. NYC hotels don't offer shuttles. A: Hi, take a Cab or Uber to The Mills at Jersey Gardens it’s 10 minutes from the Airport It’s a huge outlet shopping with restaurants and all the brand shops. It is similar to Woodbury outlets. Enjoy.

A: The earliest time given out is 10:30 a.m., you have to set up your time at final check-in in the app or on the website. This doesn't mean you'll be on the ship at that time it's the appointment for the physical check-in.

A: On all our cruises out of Bayonne (Cape Liberty), boarding began at 10:30. Post Covid we’ve had the 10:30-11:00 boarding time and arrive at the terminal at 9:45-10:00 to drop off luggage and park. By the time we do that and go through security and... the quick checkin process, we only sit for a short period of time before boarding.See More

A: There is parking at the port but try to get there as early as possible. If you’re handicapped like me if you get there early enough (around 9:30 am) you will get a spot super close to where you drop off your luggage. We went for Christmas 2022 and... it was $20 a day…. Safe Travels!!See More

Q: I’m so overwhelmed!! Good hotels close to the cruise port?? There’s way too many with bad reviews.
A: We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Staten Island. We could park there for free during our cruise. We UBERed to the cruise terminal. It was still cheaper then if we paid to park at cruise terminal. The grounds around the hotel were very nice and I enjo... yed finding all the statues. It was kind of like a treasure hunt while waiting to leave for terminal.See More

A: For Park/Stay/Cruise packages start with trinityreservations. Almost all their bookings include cruise long parking and transport to the pier with your 1 night stay. But the locations are not within Bayonne as that is not much of a tourist area.

A: Though you are required to get timed tickets to take the ferry over to the islands there is no timed entry to either attraction. The national park dolcents do not regulate how long people take to tour inside either monument so allow at least 4 hours... minimum for the statue and another 2 for the buildings at Ellis, plus the transit time which varies depending on which pier you are leaving from.See More

A: Take the local public vans- $7.00 cash each way. There will be people just outside the pier gate to direct you to the right vans. You will be dropped off right at the walkway to the beach and when you want to return, there are vans waiting to take... people back to the pier.See More

One price gets you the room, parking for the length of the cruise and private car to and from the port. we find it saves us between $100-$150 an... d a ton of headache. A: I just actually parked at the parking garage next to the cruise port in June. The garage was $30 dollars a day it was right next door to the cruise port it was well worth the money. You just park the car and walk over so close and easy.

A: Compare taxi fares vs rideshare cost. Depending on traffic either of those are good. If taking the cruise line shuttle you might circle the airport 3 or 4 times to fill up making for a long ride if among the first to board.

A: I’ve sailed out of Cape Liberty many times and I was able to get photos and recordings of the sunrise and sailing under the bridge every time we came back to the port. Also i usually sail in the summer months if that makes a difference.

A: You can.. but you can't leave your car there the whole time you're away. You would have to leave to go find parking after you watch the ship come in, and then come back to board for your trip. By then you might be late! 😬
