You can.. but you can't leave your car there the whole time you're away. You would have to leave to go find parking after you watch the ship come in, and then come back to board for your trip. By then you might be late! 😬

The ship schedule may say 6am, but past experience with the NJ/NYPA pilots usually has the ship arriving as earlier as it needs to clear the Varrazanos bridge. We be up as early as 4am and found the ship already docked. Even if the tides have the ship sailing in at 6am no Sunrise in NJ is prior to 6:30am in November

Yea I thought so lol. Has anyone done this before or would it be too early. I know it says the memorial is open dawn to dusk and I think the Ship arrives at 6a. We sail in Novermber

I’ve sailed out of Cape Liberty many times and I was able to get photos and recordings of the sunrise and sailing under the bridge every time we came back to the port. Also i usually sail in the summer months if that makes a difference.
