When we return to port my flight isn’t until 7pm. The excursion to EWR airport is sold out. Are there any ideas on what I can do all day with a rolling suitcase. Not sure if there are shops at or close to the cruise terminal to hang out most of the day. I’ve tried to find another excursion that picks up at the port and drops off at EWR but haven’t found any yet.

Hi, take a Cab or Uber to The Mills at Jersey Gardens it’s 10 minutes from the Airport   It’s a huge outlet shopping with restaurants and all the brand shops. It is similar to Woodbury outlets.                  Enjoy.

If you are on Royal, let them know at the Shore Excursions desk.  It was the same for us.  They scheduled a 2nd bus so we had a great tour of NYC before going to EWR.

Later that day you can walk over to the Embassy Suites , it’s across the street from the outlets. They have a free shuttle service to airport.

There are plenty of shops in the airport terminal. We did that for our return flight in San Juan. Just check your luggage and relax.
