City tour and Craigdarroch castle. Tour guide had lots of knowledge about the city. Victoria is a beautiful city which I wouldn't mind visiting again. Craigdarroch castle was beautiful. The drawback: Bus parks a couple blocks away. It is uphill walk. The castle has five stories. So if you have bad knees, feet or hips - beware- this tour might not be for you. Also it was dark by the time we got to the castle and we didn't have much time. That being said it is worth seeing.

nice town, but would have preferred more time in Juneau vs Victoria. did the orca watching tour and were able to follow two pods..

I went on the whale watching excursion. We saw several killer whales including a group that was hunting and caught their prey. I wish I had gone into the city instead. All onboard was 1pm and the whale watching got back at noon. So I went straight back to the ship, didn’t want to risk missing the ship. I do recommend the whale watching excursion but just don’t plan on doing much else afterwards. Seems to me the cruise lines are decreasing their times in Victoria. They’re staying just long enough to satisfy the law requirements about stopping in a foreign port. The Royal Princess’ time was even shorter than ours. It showed up hours after we did and left at the same time we did.

We were about an hour late docking we were suppose to have 4 hours but had 3, we had enough time to walk downtown take a few pictures and walk back to the ship. Gift shops near the ship were to small and very crowded

Save on some cash and walk to the down town area. It’s a nice walk and you’ll get to the palace there.

I though this stop was stupid because of the time we did it. It is a lovely place but get there at 7 PM and leave at midnight. It was almost dark and have to walk 30 min to the city to shop. The path was dark with an uneven path. It was great exercise, but so glad that we didn’t take our mother with us. There is a shuttle for 15$. These things should be part of the cruise. But during the day would have been better.
