We got to port on time. Took the scenic tour of city through the boat because we weren't sure from other reviews if we would have enough time. Mary Amanda's talk on the Solstice gave us information and maps for the short walk 15 minutes or the 45 minute scenic walk. After our two hour tour which was very informative (how to tell blue spruce from hemlock and $900,000 for 30 year old 2,500 square foot house), I was so tired that I went back to the ship. There is a shuttle from downtown $10 one way, $15 round trip. There is also a gift shop at the pier with Canadian goods. The shops on the boat don't open on day of disembarkation.

We can say we stopped by. The end. Pulled in about 9:00pm walked around the port for about 20 minutes. Nothing at the port and town was too far away for super short stop - too late in the evening.

Since our ship was here from 8 until 11:59, we decided to make a reservation at Quest Reality Games in Victoria. The lines to get off the ship were HUGE and the lines to get a cab were HUGE. We almost missed our Escape Room reservation! But Quest was very accommodating and we made it with a minute to spare and escaped from the room with a little over a minute to go. Our cab ride back to the port passed some beautiful and historic bldgs.
