We didn't go to Butchart Gardens due to disability, but we did see the Royal BC Museum. 3rd floor has First Nations exhibit and plenty more to keep history lovers entertained. You can pay for a shuttle or if you are an avid walker, get there in 1/2 hour. Be prepared for doing some math on currency conversion.

Very pretty town, but too windy. Again excursion was a fiasco, the worst of them all. There should have been a booth outside the ship waiting for passengers and to give them information in hand. We had to wait for 1 hour for the bus, a wasted hour where we could have walked to the fisherman's ward and then wait for the bus there, but information was not clear

Looks like Victoria can be a beautiful place, but it was cold & overcast which put a damper on our visit. The tour guide was great & made up some what for the bad weather.
