Due to a medical emergency in Ketchikan, we were two hours late in departing, so we arrived in Victoria late. We had booked an excursion to the Gardens and by the time we got there it was DARK, and we only had about 45 minutes to visit, Also, there were three ships in port and it seemed that everyone took this same excursion. Way too many people on narrow paths, and everyone wanting to take a selfie.

My kid was being fussy here and so it kind of hampered my experience. Last time here we booked a horse drawn carriage tour in town which was really nice. This time we walked to downtown, which is a nice walk along the waterfront, and looked around a little bit, but because of the kid we ended up going back to the ship a bit early. Unfortunately there's not much time in port here either (7am-2pm)

Beautiful city, did the bus tour followed by a trip to the Butchart Gardens that were so beautiful.

Another port with a bus ride.....roundtrip to town was $30 per person. But it did not appear many people were coming back with much. We opted to walk the dock to a couple of gift shops.

self guided , lots of walking to get to downtown ( 40 mins), shuttlenis $15 RT. I did hear excursions to Buchette Gardens was far but beautiful
