Been to Seattle before, so we flew in the day of embarkation, which maybe next time we will fly in the day before and leave the same day we disembark.

We embarked in Seattle, had a day to visit the City, the best thing about Seattle was the Marriott at the waterfront, it was directly across from where we embarked, made it very easy! and the hotel was very nice.

We spent a couple of days in Seattle after our cruise - well worth it. We used a Carnival post cruise tour bus excursion because the hop on hop off buses had not started their season yet. We find it's a great way to get an overview of the city - stops at the Space Needle, old sections of town, the locks, Pike's Market, the waterfront, etc. Used mass transit (really inexpensive, about $2 a day each) to get back in town from our hotel near the airport. We also did a winery and waterfalls tour through Viator - well worth the time, gets you out of the city for a really enjoyable day.

We stayed in Seattle for two days after the cruise and had an absolute blast. Get a city pass for $99, well worth it.

Always love this port! Embarkation and disembarkation were both quick and painless. Fastest immigration and customs process that I have ever had!

There is so much to do here! If your schedule and budget allow, I think it is a great idea to spend a couple days before or after. We went to the Great Wheel, Underground Tour, Space Needle, Chihuly Glass, Mariner's baseball game, and Pike Place fish market. We enjoyed all of them!

Dirty, crowded and homeless population is astronomical. Pikes Market was very crowed and tour operator warned us of pick pockets at the market. Space Needle was fun and worth doing.

We live in Portland, so we drove up to Seattle then took a bus to Vancouver. We love Seattle and have been there many time. Be sure to go to Pikes Place Market and get mac & cheese at Beechers, pastries at Piroshkys, Yogurt at Ellenos and stop in the very first Starbucks - all within blocks of each other. Oh, and the Space Needle and the surrounding park.

Seattle is an excellent port to embarking and disembarking on a cruise. Only 30 minute drive from airport to cruise terminal.
