We wandered around the city and spent our time doing some shopping. We did not participate in any excursion through the Royal Carribean.

Old town is a must. Balboa park. I recommend picking one and spending the day. The city tour did not give enough time at each stop. The guide was knew his material, but not really enough time to enjoy the stops.

Wish we had more time there. We were doing back to back cruises and had to be back on board by 3:30pm.

Wished we had more time there. We took the trolley, wasn't what we expected. Thought we'd have more of a tour of the city. Took about half the time that was advertised.

I LOVE San Diego and I have been there SEVERAL times. I got very sick in Old Town and had to return to the ship.
