We had been to Catalina before, so we just walked around.

Rent a golf cart and see more than just the port area. Charming island... hike, bike, stroll. Great seafood and a few non-touristy shops made it a perfect day.

Beautiful island. No real beach though. Avalon is very small, but the shops were fun.

Catalina Island was my favorite part of our journey. It's just lovely. Although, next time, I'll likely just book the ferry.

Not much to do there to occupy our young kids. We did take a nice hike and had a picnic - but none of the tours really appealed to us

Nice island. We rented golf carts to tour the island, very n ice views, but not awesome. No waves at the beach, however, the island was nice. Nice to see, worth spending 5 hours.
