Catalina is a really cute town. I'd like to go back for a weekend.

A bit small for all the people that get off the boat. Is best to wait until after noon to go.

We did not take any excursions or any activities while there but the shopping was fun.

Lots of nice shops. We rented a 6 seat golf cart and cruised around. Very pretty at Catalina.

I had never been there so it was a new experence that I did enjoy but I could and would skip it next time or pick a different cruise area. Try something different.

The port itself is beautiful and totally walkable - being only a few blocks along the waterfront. Lots of little shops, ice cream, etc. We booked an excursion - snorkeling in 54 degree water! Very cold, but the guide was good. Next time we're going Caribbean... The weather was very cool, lower than average for end of Feb.
