Unfortunately it was Xmas day & nothing was open & a lot of tours were canceled for this reason.

A beautiful port. We took a train trip to essentially no where which was a little disappointing. This was followed up by a 2 hour bus tour of the city. Wish we had more time here.

Little distance from the City, but otherwise very nice.

We walked around the peninsula to see Port Chalmers before taking the bus to Dunedin. Lovely walk. In Dunedin, we walked to the Otago Museum and walked around the Octagon, went to the Cadbury factory just to buy chocolate bars. Beautiful Scottish churches.

Walked about the town for a wee while (Port Chalmers). Good to stretch the legs. Nothing planned. Just took it all in.

A bit boring, just an old town and quite cold even though it was September.
