No complaints about embarkation at this port. Staff were helpful, process was quick. Only downside is the distance from Santiago/airport, so definitely plan on flying in at least a day ahead.

San Antonio is a new port to cruises, but is really good attendance for the passengers, much security. And the food is good big variety of food and wine (Chilean wine the best of the world) If you visit this port you need to drink the incredible wine of this country, and big variety of fish and meat that very good The Pablo neruda museum house is a good place to visit and the whole route of poets, Chile is a great place to visit enjoy!

Just a port. Did an excursion to Santiago and around town! Interesting city. Would have preferred to visit wine area and Valparaiso en route to airport.

They changed our itinerary to San Antonio at the last minute. Many people has planned their vacation based on landing at Valparaiso.

Not long enough again. Our fault for not tacking on a couple more days at the end of the cruise.

Booked a Santiago City Tour and airport drop-off with an independent operator. We were a small group of 9 in a small van, with a lively talkative guide who answered all our questions with great humor. San Antonio is an industrial port, so we missed seeing anything of Valparaiso.

Took the your and trip into Santiago. Highly recommend this tour. 4 course dinner and local dance show included in the price. Very informative then drop off at curb side where your luggage is waiting for you.

Did not have much time to see anything. Almost 1h 40min drive from Santiago airport to ship terminal in San Antonio. We did not spend any time here either. Nice green country, whatever we saw from the window of the bus. Lots of farm land and fruit plantations. Lots of mounts.

A typical dump of a port for freight. It was 75 miles into Santiago.

We never docked. Chile closed the port and after 2 days of circling around in sight of San Antonio and negotiations between government officials still denied entry. We had already planned on staying on ship for back to back cruise to San Diego. This cruise was canceled on 3/14 and created chaos for us. We were told we were to get off the ship in less than 24 hours and had to find a flight home. Then the ship was denied entry. All the people who were to get off were stuck on the ship. Those who were to get on the ship were stuck in Chile.
