We took a cab tour of the area. Ancient ruins and downtown area. It was nice to walk around.

Temple of the moon and Chan chan were impressive. The main square in the town was nice.

Took the local your. However the temporary local market set in up at the bow on the dock in port has good prices and local made products. Very congested traffic. 2 hours of tour was sitting in traffic.

This was the first port where we had excellent tour guides and learned so much about the early Peruvians and their history.

Educational, if you get out to see the poor housing. The poor and the rich is separated by a street in downtown area. Sad.
