Beautiful city - lives up to it's 'Monaco of South America' moniker. Just outside the port is a pedestrian only market and restaurant area. The areas was filled with locals and tourists alike milling about, shopping, eating, enjoying. This is a city I would love to return to and explore further. If there for only the day, I would recommend simply enjoy the immediate area and skipping any excursions.

Nice vacation seaside resort. Walkable everywhere. Didn't join tour, walked main street, had gelatos and fab empanadas!

Our favorite port on the cruise. Unfortunately the weather prevented a second visit but would certainly return to Montevideo.

“Highlights” were not very high. It was Sunday so many things were closed. We did the Oceania City Highlights, Wine and Dance excursion

Only port we had a full day. We did a Free Walking tour it was nice. Went to the market near the port had a great steak and did some shopping.

Did the Hop On Hop Off tour independent of the ship. It was nice and took you all over the city to see sights. $24 each and they take credit cards and American dollars.
