Enjoyed the Cruise, especially the Carnival in Rio.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Little hectic because of needing to be bused from Terminal check-in to ship in Buenos Aires
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Main dining room and buffet food just average. Murano and Tuscan Grille specialty restaurant food and drink was excellent.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
A couple of wine events were good.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Stage shows were good
Children's Programs
Didn't have children
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Didn't think the service was as good as previous cruises on Celebrity. Not sure if true but it seemed like most venues were understaffed. However, our room steward Jason was excellent.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I think the Eclipse was scheduled for an overall that didn't get completed. It needs some work.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was fine and Jason our Steward was excellent
Ship tip
If you can afford it - use the Specialty Restaurants more often.
Very nice stop for basically 3 days. Going to the Sambadrome Carnival Parades was the highlight. Took four excursions that covered all Rio has to offer from Christ the Redeemer to Sugar Loaf to Copacabana Beach, etc.
