I loved, loved Taganga. Stop by Hotel Bellena Azul, order some drinks, relax on their beds or chaises and get a mini massage. Best kept scuba diving secret in the caribbean in this area.

We didn't get alot of time in Santa Marta but we made the best of the time we had. We enjoyed the beach and a beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean.

Aggressive street vendors. Scenic drive went through slums. Did not feel safe. Was able to get panoramic photos but guide hurried us at that point. Most of excursion was about their hero, Simon Bolivar. Do not plan to ever return there.
