The town itself isn't much, but an excellent point for viewing wildlife. Took an excursion along river and saw sloths, crocs, iguana, cobra.

We visited the banana plantations and took a boat ride through the rain forest and had a great time. Even though it was December, it was hot and sunny and watching the people working the plantation was very interesting. Everyone we met were very friendly and courteous.

Costa Rica is very special,had a tour guide for the day named Willy. He was wonderful showing us around the island and got us back to the ship on time.
