Brilliance of the Seas

11 Night Panama Canal Holiday (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: December 22, 2006

Ship: Brilliance of the Seas

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

The ship appeared a little tired - from its capitan to its staff, its interiors. They appeared to need a good cleaning especially the hallways leading to the staterooms. A positive aspect was the stateroom attendant who was constantly congenial and hard-working. Another was the variety of menus in the Minstral dining room. Although the food was not always as described, most of the time it was adequately prepared.

Not much to see except local vendors peddling their wares in a huge hanger-type building.

Pros: The numerous activities for both children, teens and adults

Cons: Cruisers whose children are unchaperoned
