Review summary
We sailed on the Carnival Legend for Christmas and it was wonderful. The ship was shiny and sparkly and well decorated for the holidays. We were greeted with wine and smiles as we boarded. Our cabin had a balcony that was just right for us, we could either sunbathe or eat breakfast there, we really enjoyed watching the ocean go by on the lounge chairs. The staff was wonderful as always, whenever we had a problem they were quick to correct it and ensure that everything was smooth for us. We took our grown daughters (21 and 28) with us and they had as much or more fun than we did. There were plenty of activities for all of us and we were as busy or laid back as we wanted to be.Ports of call
Pros: The best thing about the cruise was the ease of the holiday, no wrapping or cooking to worry about. The staff was pleasant, even though they missed their families and made it a great christmas for my entire family.
Cons: Leaving the ship to go home, who would serve our dinner?? :-)
Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!
