Not sure what was going on, but we were tendered very late to a small area that had one gift store. Very limited time and there appeared to be some unrest and had to wait for police to get there. I did get a picture with the an officer who was carrying a huge rifle. I think I was as tall as he was!

We saw the visitors centers of the old canal and the new canal. Enjoyed the tour very much, especially seeing the new canal.
