Did the “Best if Cartagena tour”. Interesting tour, but somewhat disappointed. I didn’t appreciate being mauled by street vendors the minute we got off the ship. It didn’t help that our tour guide told us to be on guard for pick pockets. Not a place I would go back to.

You can walk to the closest city, and take a taxi on the way back. It is a bit far from the cruise ship, but you can do it.

The City Tour we took was average and I haven't come away with any great impressions of Cartagena.

not enough time (1/2 day on this cruise) to really get to know this city and traffic makes it difficult to get around quickly, but Colombia is culturally rich and very friendly to Americans.

The fortress was huge, just too bad it was never used. Very HUMID!
