Traffic was terrible; one stop had people dressed in folkloric garb wanting to take picture -- I do not like this type of harassment. Bus tour and carriage rides were great. Guides were knowledgeable, friendly and professional -- good value.

Cartagena was much larger than I expected. Took the Old City, Fort and Museum tour which was very interesting. Old City had very interesting architecture. Museum info was all in Spanish and tour guide's English was sketchy, but it was still interesting. Only criticism is that there are an enormous amount of street vendors who swarm you as you get off the bus and walk around. Shake your head "no" and keep moving and they will generally leave you alone.

Nonstop hustle to purchase from individuals as well as vendors onshore. The excursion guide seemed to be in on it and just pushed it and pushed it. The guide was not up to par.

Cartagena! This city was stunning! I have no words to describe the beauty. Our group walked from the port to the old city (Ciudad Amurallada) it only took us about 20 minutes to walk. We enjoyed walking and taking pictures of the colorful buildings and houses. It is very safe! There are police officers everywhere at all times. The city is very historic. There are many fruit vendors selling fresh fruits and lemonade. The beach was nice, sand is dark. The temperature was excellent during late December.
