Did not do an excursion. Walked into port and joined a local tour guide for $20pp with a group of 10 of us. The old walled town is worth a walk through but beware of your personal space as street vendors are constantly in it. How many times can you say "No Gracias" to ten people in a space of 20 feet?

Ride to Old Town with a Caribbean Taste. Ferry ride over and walked around in own own. The locals are all over you trying to sell whatever they had. Can bargain but need to be able to say No Thank you and keep walking!

It is an interesting and beautiful old city with much to see. But if you go into old town you are bombarded by hawkers of all types of products and they do not leave you alone until you’ve said “ no thanks “ 5 times and then get upset. They swarm over you even when sitting at an outdoor cafe. We would not go back to the old town, which is a shame, as it is a very nice place to stroll.

Situated so you kind of have no choice but to use bus or taxi to get away from the terminal. Too costly for a ten min ride when they try to charge by the person. Walk out the gate and bam! They’re all over you reaching, touching. Just very aggressive. Turned around and just spent a couple of hours at the port shopping and the somewhat zoo that is there. Tried the food and it was very good. Will not do this port again.
