The port is just tourist shops you expect from any port but there is no culture in that port. If you are looking to experience Belize then book an excursion equate there isn't anything to do at the port and the tender boat ride from ship to port takes about 25 minutes

Our favorite spot. Went to ruins and river boat ride, excellent. In city, jewerly stores. Beautiful jewerly,too much temptation.

This is my second visit and wish I'd stayed aboard ship eating all those damned Guy Fieri's burgers and Blue Iguana tacos instead of shooting useless video, drinking some "poisonous" rum drink, eating a bag of cashews and visiting a drive-in cemetery.

wouldn't go back there. We zip lined and cave tubed which was fun, but the island itself is dirty...

The tender ride is kind of long but understandable due to the extensive and beautiful reefs. Belize City itself is not very pretty to look at and was honestly a little scary to walk through to get to our excursion company. The snorkeling excursion we did from SeaSports however was awesome and the Cayes are beautiful!
