Review summary

Loved it (for the most part). Loved seeing multiple places in one vacation. The cruise ship was beautiful, drinks were great, seas were gorgeous. Would do it again, but just know that there are hidden fees and overall it is more expensive than an all-inclusive resort.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy. We were able to get on almost an hour before our scheduled time which was nice.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Pretty good food though I must admit we did more drinking. For some reason though I kept craving chicken strips and couldn't find them anywhere lol.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The gym was nice w/ a large number of treadmills and other cardio equipment which can always be a struggle to access at gyms in general. Pools were ok, kind of small and LOTS of kids. The adults only pool was a nice feature, but again was fairly small. This was our first cruise however, so not sure if this is just a typical we're-on-a-boat-and-therefore-there-is-quite-limited-space finding.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We didn't honestly go to many of these things, but the final night music in the main stage/main bar on floor 3 with Dustin was pretty entertaining. Lots of people singing Sweet Caroline and swaying back and forth never hurt anyone.

Children's Programs

I don't have kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on this ship was awesome. Everyone was great, but a special shoutout to Geddy--bartender at the 9th floor bar in the adults only pool section. He was fast, easy to understand (unlike some others which is understandable as English is clearly not their first language), remembered our names and drinks of choice, and was generally friendly and awesome.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

This is our first cruise and first experience with cruise-style rooms. We did elect for a balcony room and are quite glad we did so. The balcony was our favorite place to be with the awesome ocean overlooks and views of coming into port from our room. Room itself was clean and comfortable. They are quite small even for 2 people, but I'm assuming this is a normal part of cruise-life. Also had a couple days where hot water in the shower was spotty, but again maybe this is a normal cruise thing. Otherwise rooms were great.

Ship tip

I'm going to cheat with 2 pieces of advice. #1--go with the all-inclusive drinks. Worth it to have fun and not be constantly tallying up your tab. #2-- Get a balcony room. The balcony is an awesome place to watch as you enter and leave ports and to relax with a drink in a more quiet environment.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Really just used this port to enter/exit the boat. It's not very pretty to look at, but it does it's job.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Loved it. Beautiful water and loved the stingray excursion. Only downside is having to take the tenders to and from shore.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Enjoyed how close everything is to the ship. Just a 5 minute walk to a free beach with beautiful water and (almost) cheap drinks. Clearly this port has been fairly americanized, but let's be honest, no one is complaining.

Belize City, Belize

4 out of 5
The tender ride is kind of long but understandable due to the extensive and beautiful reefs. Belize City itself is not very pretty to look at and was honestly a little scary to walk through to get to our excursion company. The snorkeling excursion we did from SeaSports however was awesome and the Cayes are beautiful!

Cozumel, Mexico

A little more difficult to navigate. You will need to rent a taxi to get to any beaches, though most taxi drivers speak English well and as long as you have cash (no credit cards as once you leave the port there isn't wi-fi), you will be fine and enjoy the gorgeous beaches.

Disembarkation

Quick and easy. Only sad part was leaving the cruise.
