We went on a private tour with King David Belize tours. We did a combo tour that included Altun Ha Mayan ruins, lunch, and the howler monkey sanctuary. It was great having a private driver because we got to the ruins before everyone else and almost had the whole place to ourselves. As we were leaving all the tour busses were arriving.

We booked an excursion through carnival called swimming with sharks and rays. It was awesome! We started out snorkeling at barrier reef and then went to an area where nurse sharks and stingray are and the staff threw our food and they swarmed the boat. They were very used to humans and rubbed up against us as they swam by. It was very cool! We went back to Caye Caulker and had an hour to eat and walk around before we headed back towards the port. On the way back we stopped at tarpon creek and fed some fish that jumped up to grab sardines from us. The ocean was beautiful and very clear! We tried the daiquiri bar at port which was good and a lot cheaper than drinks on the ship, they have daiquiris as well as beer.

My family and I had an unBELIZEable time. Lol. We did the cave tubing with lunch excursion. Our guides were Ivor and DJ. I cannot remember the 3rd guide’s name. Anyway, our cave tubing not only included lunch but also a hike through the Forrest. We caught a glimpse of their native iguanas and some howler monkeys in the trees above. The experience was amazing. The cave waterfalls were beautiful. I would definitely recommended the cave tubing excursion.

My families favorite port! Dont let reviews fool you, outside of the city are beautiful ruins and caves that you can not see anywhere else

We enjoyed Belize more than we expected. We had heard it was hot and scary ;) But we did a bus tour through the city out to the Altun Ha Maya Ruins. Our guide, Gus, told us all about the city and the culture. Then at the ruins, Anna took over and told us all about the ruins and the Mayan culture. Afterwards, we went on a cruise up the Belize River (River Wallace). It was good but a little long...we saw monkeys, bats, and MANATEE! It was pretty cool!

BELIZE! BELIZE! BELIZE! The Foodie Tour was EVERYTHING! Belize is unBELIZEable! I shall return. The food was great. The people were great. The port had it all. WAY TO GO! We met a lot of people who did different excursions in Belize and NONE of them had anything bad to say. Because Belize does not have an actual pier it made it kind of weird and an extremely long process to get back on the ship but that does not take away from the experience!!

I liked the port. People were friendly. We found a bar where you got free internet if you bought a drink. The drinks were reasonable and delish! We met a nice couple celebrating there anniversary. Nice place to chill.
