This port we got off to do some shopping, walking, and looking around. The city was like gated, so you can only go into the city if you had an excursion what we were told. Little sketchy but did not want to test that out. We did eat and drink some fruity cocktails at the Wet Lizard and that is a must to go! The server was excellent, the buffalo loaded fries were great but little hot! The drinks were amazing!!!

Our excursion took us an hour away by boat from Belize so we actually didn’t get to the island, but we loved snorkeling w the wild sting rays and nursing sharks...it just took the whole day!

Tendering to the port is fun and took about 20 minutes. The port is run down and items are overpriced. I would recommend bringing money in small bills. ($1 and $5) it's much easier to barter then with $20's.

We did the zip lining and cave tubing tour the first time and it was a blast and around $60 for food and drink per person! The second time we took a water taxi to Caye Caulker (island nearby) and it was BEAUTIFUL! If you like adventure and an active excursion I recommend the zip line/tubing but if you want to walk around and hang out on a PRECIOUS little island with stuff to do I recommend Caye Caulker!

This was my favorite stop. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Had nice shops and the salespersons were not pushy, I would like to go back there again.

You have to drive about an hour for most excursions so beware of that. You also have to tender from the boat to shore which adds some time to the day and my husband didn’t love it.

Unless going on a excursion, just stay on ship. Limited shopping , no beach and you have to tender.

Booked a snorkeling trip thru Carnival at Goff’s Caye- the most beautiful island in the world?! I recommend taking a mask and snorkel along to extend your time after the guided tour, since we were in island several hours before going back to ship. Awesome trip!
