Review summary

Had a good time despite ship deficiencies. This ship tries to copy rcl liberty even to exact games and words but this is not rcl. It was less expensive then the dream and closer to Covington.(Galveston 6hr. drive) The ports for the most part very good.   We need more cruise lines leaving new Orleans, are a better ncl ship.(how about the ncl escape) In conclusion, if the dream is full or to high the 2nd best choice is ncl.   Happy cruising!!

Ocean view rooms are on lower decks. Shower was large but getting dress outside of shower very difficult without opening bath room door. Cigarette holder next to toilet. Walls, you can hear everything in adjacent room.

Ship tip

Limited things for kids. Ship is a maize, not easy to navigate. Some areas unaccessible except thru steps. Unlimited beverage has limits and exceptions, also additional charges on drinks the 1st day on board. Tips on this ship $13.50 per person per day and you have no say. (breakdown is secret)

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

Unless going on a excursion, just stay on ship. Limited shopping , no beach and you have to tender.

The Escape won't FIT up the Mississippi River. And maybe if you cruised NCL first, you would have thought RCCL copied them. It's an industry where there is a lot of crossover.
