Let me begin by saying I would like to visit Belize again some day. That said, I didn't enjoy the amount of time it took to actually get to our excursion. But I already knew about all that. It made for little time for looking around once back to port. This was our only tender port and we booked the excursion through Royal Caribbean. We chose the Jaguar Paw Cave Tubing and 30 minute Jungle Trek (on ground). The tender boat took about 35 minutes to Belize City's port, and we rode on a comfortable enough bus for the next 1 hour, 15 minutes and were given a good tour presentation on the way. We then boarded another -very rustic- bus for the last two minutes toward the locker and pick-up area. The Tubing was fun and the water surprisingly refreshing after the half-hour walk through the humid jungle area. I was worried about the water temperature. The Belizian lunch of chicken, rice and cole slaw was delicious and welcome after our recent adventure and the time of day. The (American) music that was being played at lunch was too loud, almost headache level. In all, a good outing that I would recommend.

I did get a henna tattoo while there this time, spent sometime walking around the city. It helps when you can be part of the first people to get the water shuttle (tender)

It was a long boat ride from the ship, but it was a nice ride. Lots of shops to enjoy. Many carried the same commercialized items, but there were some different things to find here. Didn't do excursions.

Poorer then I thought and not well built up yet. DO TAKE trolley.train ride best money you can spend to really see the city. DO Snorkel. shallow reaafs, lots of fish. Avoid the Star fish island beach time. waste of your time and money. your trapped there for 2 hours and nothing really to do there. Just snorkel and go back to shop or trolley your good. Avoid the DI promos and stuff. Alll junk.

Belize is such a beautiful country. For my excursion I did ziplining and visited Maya ruins. It was my 1st time ziplining and itvwas exhilarating even I got stuck on the 1st line probably due to my fear 😱. The rest of the time I had a guide with me 😊. The Maya ruins tour was beautiful and such an history. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable.

We knew it’d be raining the day we were here so we planned to just shop around port, eat, & relax. & that’s just what we did. Had lunch at Wet Lizard...good food & service.
