The first two comedians on the ship were fantastic (their PG performances) and the shows were extraordinary. They know how to entertain. The crew is always working just for you and they are very friendly. Eric, the cruise director, was funny and very entertaining and energetic. My only issue: someone needs to keep an eye on the ice cream machines at night so they are always full. They ran out a few nights before 11 p.m. and it is supposed to be available 24/7. I would recommend this ship to others and would take it again if I chose to repeat a ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was good. I was a little disappointed when I went for ice cream at 11 p.m. after the show a couple nights and it was empty. The weather was great and it was warm so the kids were hitting the ice cream hard (and so were the adults.) :-)
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Didn't really do the activities but they sounded like fun.
Entertainment

Rondell Sheridan and Happy Cole were hilarious at the PG shows. (I don't care for R rated.) I haven't laughed that hard in years. I wish those two were on the entire cruise and not just the beginning. The Playlist Productions team was phenomenal. I love singing and dancing and they did not disappoint.
Children's Programs
Didn't have children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our dining staff was great--Ivan, Tomas, Mariteh (spelled wrong). During the day they work in the other food areas. Our cabin steward was also great--Gerald. The staff all put in long days and work very hard.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship seemed very clean and in order. The water slide was working (even though I didn't have a chance to use it) and the kids and some adults were having fun. The pools looked clean and were used a lot, also.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were offered an upgrade from a balcony and we took it and loved the room. Now I'll never get my husband back into a regular balcony. :-) We loved all the extra space and it was very clean. Gerald did a great job taking care of us and our room.
Ship tip
The easiest way to get from one end of the ship to the other is walking down your deck floor and then go up or down to wherever you are going. Just relax and enjoy.
Didn't realize there was a free beach until later in the day. Rode the chair lift over, but didn't have swimsuits so just enjoyed a drink. The chair lift was nice. Would have spent more time at the beach had we known about it.
It was a long boat ride from the ship, but it was a nice ride. Lots of shops to enjoy. Many carried the same commercialized items, but there were some different things to find here. Didn't do excursions.
Stopped at Fat Tuesdays for a drink in a souvenir cup and it came in a basic colored solo cup. They were out of the souvenir cups and didn't even say anything and I still had to pay the regular price even though the cup was smaller and nothing special to keep. They didn't care and that bothered me more.
The ones taking the photos get commission on the photos. That's why the prices are a little high. They work just as hard as the others on and off the ship. That's how they make their money.
I have to add one more thing to my review--the pictures are way too expensive. I bought two only because I couldn't pass them up. They were 8 x 10 and I would have preferred smaller, but I had no choice. When people can take such great pictures on their own these days with their phones, you'd think they would drop their prices so people would buy more of their pictures. They waste so many pictures.
