We took a tour of Lamanai ruins and loved it! As other reviews pointed out the boat ride was a great part of the adventure, very fun. I specifically booked these ruins knowing you can climb to the top of the large structure and we did! The structures were breathtaking and view from the top beautiful. I was surprised not to get more historical information from the guides (they did give some) and was glad I had listed to a podcast in advance called Fall of Civilizations, The Mayan Collapse. Be sure to bring lots of water, there’s a bit of hiking and our tour surprisingly did not provide any.

We love Belize. We went to the Mayan ruins and had a fantastic time. The boat ride was fantastic. We got to climb the tallest temple at the site. This is the 2nd tallest in all of Belize.

We did go on an excursion. We went on the Cave Tubing. Our guide was Raymund Lopez. He was the BEST guide ever. He was very thorough in his talking about the caves and pointing out the different shapes, so we could take lots of pictures and explaining things as we were floating through the cave. He took his time with us and made sure that we were getting a lot of history about the cave as well as having fun during the process. I have to admit when we first signed up for the excursion I wasn't sure I would like it, but I am so happy that we did go. While on the bus ride to the cave he taught us some "creole" language and we had a lot of fun with that. He is funny, personable, knowledgeable and is very good at his job.

Cave tubing excursion through Carnival. Very well organized. Must take "tender" (ferry ride from boat to port) since boat can't dock due to shallow water. Met in theater for instructions. Very clear and organized. Excursion was great. Guides were informative, warm and helpful. Food was really good. I eat a lot so it was a little pricey to get filled up. Definitely recommend this excursion.

We did the cave tubing and jungle trek though Royal Caribbean and it was amazing! It was an hour long bus ride to get there but we got a tour which was awesome! When we got there we got fitted for our life jackets and helmets then our walk though the jungle to the water then an amazing ride though the caves! Our tour guide was awesome! Then when we were done we had a Belizean lunch which was chicken, rice and beans. Overall it was fantastic I highly recommend this excursion!

We loved Belize.. didn’t spend much time at the port because our excursion was an all day excursion.. we did Xunantanich.. it was absolutely beautiful.. I even loved how they took us to a local restaurant so we could try an authentic Belizian meal

My handicapped friend and I did the snorkel. There are lots of so-so reviews, but these guys were so wonderful!!!! We had a special guide today took care of us and showed us the best places to look. there were a lot of people in one place, but safety outs they number one priority. Hell the party on the boat on the way back was worth the trip! We had a ball and even though the sea was rough, we still managed to see cool fish, sting rays and a dolphin!!! Very accommodating!! PS definitely try the 'happy juice' 😀😀
