My experience was so AWESOME/AMAZING on this cruise (which like I said before was my 1st time), that I can't wait to go again. Next time my daughter & I will take the rest of the family.
Embarkation

I thought it was very easy and seemed to run pretty smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I loved going to the "Platinum Dining Room" and eating. My daughter & I went there every opportunity we could. The breakfast was fabulous as well as the dinners. We went to the buffets only if we had an excursion planned because that was faster than going to the dining room. I thought you had a GREAT variety of food in all of the restaurants. I especially loved "Guy's Burgers". They were the BEST ever. I wish I would have had more times to have eaten there, but I wanted to make sure I tried everything. I was very happy with all of the food. The desserts were out of this world.
Lido Marketplace

I was happy to have a "buffet" to go to especially on the mornings where we had an excursion planned. It was open, quick and easy (plus the food was good) to grab something and go. It was also nice that if I wanted to grab a piece of fruit or cereal box to snack on I could get it. I think the only drawback to the buffet is that by the time you made it through the line and found a place to sit and eat the food was cold. But it is still a great idea to have one for those who are picky and just want to get as little as possible or as much as you want.
BlueIguana Cantina

I had the taco bowl and my daughter had the huge burrito. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Platinum Restaurant

I loved the huge variety of food that was being served. I felt very pampered. It was truly an AWESOME experience. Not to mention how there was always something to eat even if you are a picky person.
Guy's Burger Joint
5 out of 5
I think those burgers were the BEST ever. I wish I would have went back and more of them, but I didn't want to miss out on other experiences.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
My daughter & I went to every show that was in the "Amber" room. The dancers, the music the beautiful scenery, all of it was simply WONDERFUL. I did not want to miss even 1 evening. We also joined in on the "after party" in the Colors and enjoyed dancing and laughing and having so much fun. I was amazed at how much activity was going on constantly. There was always something to do as an adult or for a child. Never a dull moment.
The Fun Shops
5 out of 5
It was cool to walk around to all of the shops and just see what was in all of them. I loved the fact that you have jewelry drawings every so often during the day or evening to see if you could win a piece of jewelry.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I enjoyed all of them. It was FABULOUS to sit in the Amber room and watch the stage shows. You can tell that they really put their all into the performances. The musicians/DJ's were excellent as well. I would highly recommend to anybody who did NOT go and see one to make sure that they make a special effort to go and do it. They are the best.
Children's Programs
I did not have any children on board.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our staff who cleaned our rooms was "Nyoman & Made", they were the BEST ever. I always made sure to give Nyoman a hug. (He was the one I saw most of the time, but when I did see Made, I gave him a hug too.) The animals that he made for us every day were so cool. We kept them all, took pictures of them and sent them to my family at home, and placed them up in our "window well". We had quite the collection. Our dining room staff was "Lalu, Arnold & Alice". On the 2nd evening my boss told us that we could dine at any table that we wanted to, so my daughter & I did. The next evening we went back to our original table because we missed our staff. They were so pleasant, caring & it was unbelievable that they could remember our names. I was very impressed with that. Also they just were very attentive. I probably can't say enough about "Capt. Sea Love". Oh my goodness. I loved to hear him on the speakers as he was making announcements, but I absolutely LOVED him during the stage shows & the after party shows. He has so much energy & always happy and funny and all of the different costumes "his mohawk hair" and colorful shoes. It was fun to watch him interact with everyone. I loved the fact that he got up on the bar and danced and got everybody involved. He simply is the VERY BEST.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything always looked to be in its place and a place for everything.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I was amazed that the beds were as comfortable as they were. I did not know what to expect. This was my first cruise. I slept very well every night. The cabin was always clean & everything put away where it belonged.
Ship tip
Go & enjoy. Best vacation ever. This ship would be my choice.
We did not do an excursion in Grand Cayman. We did a TON of shopping. I loved all the different shops and bought my beautiful ring at Diamond International. That was totally out of character for me, but I loved the salesman and also the store.
We did go on an excursion. We went on the "Eco walk" and beach. The guide that we had was very knowledgeable. I wasn't sure what to expect walking across the "suspension bridges", but it was great. I was happy that there were no more than 3 of us walking on those bridges. After the eco walk we went to the beach. The beach was absolutely BEAUTIFUL but very cold and windy. I was very happy that our driver decided to come back early so we could go back to the ship. Here name was Carla & she was awesome.
We did go on an excursion. We went on the Cave Tubing. Our guide was Raymund Lopez. He was the BEST guide ever. He was very thorough in his talking about the caves and pointing out the different shapes, so we could take lots of pictures and explaining things as we were floating through the cave. He took his time with us and made sure that we were getting a lot of history about the cave as well as having fun during the process. I have to admit when we first signed up for the excursion I wasn't sure I would like it, but I am so happy that we did go. While on the bus ride to the cave he taught us some "creole" language and we had a lot of fun with that. He is funny, personable, knowledgeable and is very good at his job.
We had an "all inclusive excursion to the ruins" this day, but because of the weather, our excursion got cancelled. I was disappointed, but sometimes the Lord has other ideas of what we should do. We did get off the ship though and did more shopping. That was a lot of fun. We picked up quite a few things for our family members back home and still had a GREAT time.
