Belize City was a third world city dirty congested and didn't feel safe I would not recommend the Calypso train

We did not get off in Belize, the ship did not dock in a port. It was anchored a few miles out and much smaller boat from local company's shuffled passengers back and forth. I did not like to looks of those smaller boats. So we chose to stay aboard ship that day.

Long tender ride to a collection of shopping booths and a few restaurants. In the past I've been told by the guards not to walk into the area as it is dangerous.

Only draw back is the "tender" but it wasn't bad, we did a snorkeling excursion and enjoyed it although it was a little crowded

I loved Belize. We did the cave tubing adventure and zip line. Our tour guide was awesome and knew tons about Belize. The excursion was great and fun. Loved being able to see the City
