Review summary

We loved the cruise. My entire family went. My brother's family, sister's family, parents and my family. It was perfect, with the exception of the spa.

The food was excellent however, I remember in the past having more options during the day (after lunch) and in the evening (after dinner). They just had ice cream and pizza.

The cruise director obviously works tirelessly and is in many different places throughout the day entertaining. I would have liked more karoke because it was always too crowded but other than that, there was plenty!

Kwame, Dustin and Chongnailla (spelling) she goes by Chong. Best waiters I have every had! They were extremely personable and fun. They became a part of our family. Kwame was adored by all our teenagers and of course us. They were amazing, great attitude, quick and fun. they made us look forward to dinner!!! The best.

Ship tip

Don't ever book a massage or facial or any other treatment. I paid over $550 by prepaying these and they would bill you again, and then you would have to go fight to have them reverse the charges. The automatically include the tip, even though it was undeserved. All three of my personal appointments were a disappointment. I had two 75 minute massages. Both times, they were late, but they did not make that time up. IN addition, they spent the first 15 minutes, and the last 10 trying to sell me product. I went for a massage and a facial.....not to try to be sold something. This was really disappointing and the biggest let down of my cruise. I was so excited to relax and enjoy a facial and some massages, and I even booked two treatments for my husband and we were both flat out disappointed. I understand Carnival contracts this service, but wow....not a good representation of Carnival.

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

All we did was leave from Galveston. We did not do any excursions.

Cozumel, Mexico

This is my favorite port. Shopping close by, city close by, and we did the 4x4 surf and turf speedboad adventure and that was absolutely amazing. Best stop and excursion ever!

Belize City, Belize

I loved Belize. We did the cave tubing adventure and zip line. Our tour guide was awesome and knew tons about Belize. The excursion was great and fun. Loved being able to see the City

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Least favorite out of the ports. Not enough affordable shopping. Beach was way too crowded. But, still nice.
