Belize to me was very congested. If you have claustrophobic tendencies this may be a rough spot. It was for me. It may be different if you book an excursion, which we didn’t do but wish we had so we could enjoy it more.

due to it being a tender port we did not get to see Belize but the diving here was great.

Did the wildlife boat tour up the Belize River was okay. Did not see much Wildlife except for a manatee. Some iguanas and a monkey. Dolphins did Chase our boat and jump in our wake which was pretty cool. Going out of the port is a little dicey. Be aware of your surroundings and the people around you at all times.

We actually didn't get to go in to Belize as our excursion was cancelled due to our itinerary being changed by Carnival mid-cruise.

Belize City surprised me. The city was much more run down than I was expecting. I was glad we took a tour into the jungle to go cave tubing with cavetubing.bz. It was a little over an hour each way but the experience was worth it. Our guides Barry and Carlos were very informative about what it’s like to live in Belize and also about the caves and flora. The one negative was how long the whole thing took. We only made it back 15 minutes before the final tender.

Beautiful, well developed, we learned our lesson with not booking on the previous islands, booked a beach and snorkel trip here, the barrier reef was beautiful and the island we went to after was amazing! Very friendly people
