We did the Al Tun ruins and city tour. We had great driver and your guides Leigh and Marisol. The ride was bumpy but it showed a lot of Belize. Everyone was very appreciative of the tourist and I added a jade turtle to my collection. The food was good and try the cashew wine and Belize made Bellingham beer. My kids came away from this more appreciative of what we have!!! A very eye opening experience.

Was not very happy when the itinerary changed from Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands to Belize and Mahogany Bay. Heard nothing but bad things about Belize and the crime there, so we were afraid to do an excursion here. We walked around the port then headed back to the ship. They all sell the same trinkets and shirts, etc. so there wasn't much to see here.

Of all the ports this was the worse. First off we had to drive 25 minutes through back alleys & proverty just to get to a MAN MADE "beach". We had to dock in the middle of the ocean and wait for the belizean boats to come get us....that took 15 mins to get to the actual city...once we did it was a site for poor eyes. Literally. I truly hate to see people living in such poor conditions. Though the people were very nice. The water was brown and the beach we went to was not the best. I dont think i will be cruising to Belize again.
