I lived in Morocco as a child and I specifically wanted to go back there. It was entertaining, but got dark and a bit scary by the Kasbah. Everyone trying to sell their local handmades, but don't touch as they will follow you all the way back to the bus. If you want a lower price... keep walking... they will follow you and the price will continue to drop!

I especially found the Casbar to be dirty and smelly. It should not be part of the excursion.

There was not much to see and the tour was all about the guide taking us shopping.

Don't ride the shuttle bus. Beware of strangers offering to guide you. People were generally friendly and helpful, Most spoke English or French. It was exotic and interesting and could be a good port pf call with fine tuning.

The ship docked on a FRIDAY which is the religious day in Morocco. Many places were closed.
