Beautiful island. Great tour and guide to the Cirque d' Salazie. We were here prior to outbreaks of violence toward passengers of another cruise that residents feared were carrying the corona virus.

Great place, we rented a car. It was getting off the ship. We have not ever seen such a poor level of organization.

Fun thing to do. Rented a car and make sure they pick up at the port. Our car company Alamo didn't so we walked 5 miles to the store which ended up being enterprise which we didn't book with.

Total waste of time 8 x separate bus journeys from the ship and back for beach and shopping would not recommend

At first the locals would not let us exit the ports gate after getting off the ship. They stoned some of the crew. After the local Police used tear gas to disperse them the Captain made a decision to allow us to take a free shuttle to a local beachside resort without incident. The person at Princess who decides where ships go is in the wrong job as they should be aware that everything closes on a Sunday on this Island, therefore there is nothing to do or see
