Oceania will need to figure out how to supply simple, fine cuisine rather than the typical quick buffet type offerings on the ship. Also not safe food temperatures I think. Mayo and tarter sauce not refridgerated as far as I know. Some food items may be stored overnight and served the next day making fresh food impossible. Multiple Asian food nights for example. Asian food on all ships are nothing like properly prepared Asian food in major cities in the US. I could not eat anything. Lobster in the specialty and main dining smell funny and I heard many complaints. Food manager and Chefs were attentive but the problem is more difficult a fix. Cuisine needs to be rethought out and made smaller, fresher, better quality.

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Service was better than most but inexperience food staff was a downer. Some didn't know what they were serving or got orders wrong
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Average. Not the high quality wished for and small cabins/showers
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Large balcony on aft was the only really great thing. Noisy vibrations above engine though.
Ship tip
Wait till the ship gets refurbished. Don't expect great food unless the food management has better port choices for supplies.
Depending on weather. Rain you won't see much. I went to Ile Aux Cerfs golf course and beach. Recomment that if you are a golfer or love turquoise beaches. Beautiful
Fun thing to do. Rented a car and make sure they pick up at the port. Our car company Alamo didn't so we walked 5 miles to the store which ended up being enterprise which we didn't book with.
Nice only around the wharf. Never go out at night unless you are directly in this expensive wharf area or you may get robbed at knife point. We were close to the ship but not in the wharf side where all the tourists are. Constant begging and Scammers all around Cape Town.
