Took 2 ship excursions, the one originally to be from Ashdod to Jerusalem was too rushed and left out several important sites. Request for Spanish language was ignored both times.

Do not make the mistake we made here. We chose to do the Jerusalum tour and the city was so crammed with tour buses we spent 2.5 hours getting there and 4.5 hours back - in bumper to bumper crawling traffic. Some people on our ship had taken the overnight tour and were able to see the sights before the buses arrived. Clever them.

The beach looked wonderful and the B'Hai gardens were beautiful, but there weren't any other "wow" sights to see. Passengers should note that the city runs a free tour bus that stops very close to the port terminal.

Has more historic sites close by plus Nazareth, Galleli and other sites. Excellent as it is conveniently located right beside the train station (no taxi or bus needed to catch the train).
