A 19 day cruise with 10 sea days - seemed to me at first that it would be a bit too much of doing nothing. But actually doing nothing is optional as Seabourn ensure there is plenty to occupy those who are less inclined to lie by the pool. As it turned out i thoroughly enjoyed each and every sea day. The Ports we visited were interesting. The on board activities were interesting as were the many fellow passengers we met on board.

Entertainment
5 out of 5
The professional guest entertainers were fabulous but the ship entertainers were also absolutely wonderful - the cruise director on our ship, Ross, was so talented and funny as well as being incredibly professional. He was a highlight of the whole cruise - sooo much energy, sometimes we didnt know how he kept going. He truly made our cruise so much fun.
Children's Programs
No kids on this cruise
Service and Staff

The waitstaff were all absolutely amazing. I wish i could write more about them individually but suffice to say they worked happily and tirelessly to help make our cruise an unforgettably wonderful experience.

We were very happy with cabin. Plenty of storage - good sized wardrobe with lots of hangers, bathroom has shower, separate bath and lots of storage. Nice verandah
Ship tip
Read the Herald First thing in the morning so you dont miss out on an activity or themed meal.
We boarded the ship in Piraeus after a 3 night stay in Athens. Athens was a truly wonderful city. Must visit the acropolis followed up with a visit to the acropolis museum. A guide really is beneficial. Then spend the rest of the day wandering through the Plaka area.
We did an excursion to The Knossis Palace. It was a long tour. The tour guides are interesting but they should not speak constantly. They need to give some information and then give you a chance to look out the window and absorb what they have said. This seems to be a common mistake these bus guides make, they want to tell you every statistic about a place no matter how relevant. It is very tiring.
Do not make the mistake we made here. We chose to do the Jerusalum tour and the city was so crammed with tour buses we spent 2.5 hours getting there and 4.5 hours back - in bumper to bumper crawling traffic. Some people on our ship had taken the overnight tour and were able to see the sights before the buses arrived. Clever them.
After our day in Jerusalem we stayed on the ship in Ashdod. However Ashdod is much closer to Jerusalem so this is where you should take tour from. We dont understand why the ship would offer these tours from Haifa as Ashdod is so much closer. Our mistake 🤷♀️
Petra was incredible. The walk down to the Treasury is not too bad at all. Dont be discouraged. Well worth it and with plenty of time the walk back up is not hard.
Such a fun day. Crew including Captain David stood in chest deep water serving us caviar with all the trimmings whilst champagne was flowing on the beach. Bbq lobster was the highlight for me but lunch was a smorgasbord of delights.
