We really like Zihuatanejo. Walking around town no pressure selling and friendly people. Found a cantina that we want to go back to called Ricks. I am a musician and he will allow you to play. I didn't as I was unprepared but will next time. he also has his own label of tequila that is excellent and not expensive.

We took the city bus tour and felt we could see more of the two cities this way. We ejoyed going to a resort in Ixtapa.

This was a wonderful example of a Mexican port. We found the people friendly and welcoming, and loved the quaint atmosphere. There were lovely restaurants and the shopping market was fun. Merchants did not apply a lot of pressure and were appreciative of the business the tourists brought. The Dophin Swim was a definite highlight - a real don't miss. The animals were well cared for, and you got to spend a full hour with the animals.

I didn't get off the ship here, but I heard from alot of folks that this was the best port of all. Very friendly people and the old time feel of mexico. Need more time here!!!!

Ixtapa was removed from the itinerary and replaced with Mazatlan.

For the price, not great. A day at any beach is great, but 70 bucks a head for 4 hours on a beach?
