Better. More time at the ruins but the beach after was way to short. Lunch was so so.

Took shore excursion that included one of the Mayan ruins with beach break. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable; very pleasant experience. The beach break was not what we expected, very ugly waters, totally uninviting. Lunch was a buffet style with only one choice; I would suggest they add options to the menu. Paying $6 for coconut water....geez...that was outrageous...should have asked prior to ordering!

We loved Progreso, much prettier than the last time we were there! Beach and water were so pretty and green!

We did the Myan Ruins with shopping in Meridia. Our guide was very informative, he knew a lot of Mayan history. It was difficult ordering at the restuarant due to language barriors, but ended up with a great chicken lunch.

My least favorite port of all. The water is dirty, and you have to take a long bus ride to get to the city. Would like to visit cenotes but those are an hour away.

We took a tour bus to the Mayan Ruins. We had a great guide, Luis Eck. He was very informative, reminded me of a retired history teacher, actually. It was fascinating and we took loads of photos. On the way back, we stopped at a hacienda and had a nice lunch on a covered patio. It was a hemp farm originally and much of it was being restored while we were there. The lunch was light and tasty. There isn't any port to speak of in Progreso.

Our first time here. Didn’t do much other than the port market area. Would visit again and maybe find more to do. Had a nice time without going far away from ship.

We loved going here to see the Mayan Ruins. We also enjoyed the natural " healing" pool. Our guide was nice and friendly. We look forward to going back again someday.
