The cruise was great! We would definitely go again. Cruise director Kevin did a wonderful job, making everyone feel welcomed and showed a great time. The shows were the hightlight of the trip. I say if you want to cruise to see shows Carnival is the way to go!

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Guy's burgers are the best! The buffet in Rosie's restaurant had limited selections. The main dining room was great. The Seafood Shack was yummy! I grew up in New England and I know what Fried Calms are suppose to taste like, and they were it!

The musicians from Deep Blue Soul were great. They were also part of the America Rocks performance. The shows were unbelievable! We truly enjoyed the sounds, dancing and lights.

No kids.
Service and Staff

Heri our room steward did an outstanding job. He made sure we had everything we needed. He seemed to always be working. The wait staff was great.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The design was nice with the American theme. We could see to age of the ship showing. There was rust on the decks. You could see the wear and tear throughout the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very clean. There were only the two of us on this trip, so plenty of space. It was nice to sit on the balcony in privacy. My favorite part of any cruise is seeing the ocean at night, there is nothing like it.
Ship tip
Check out optional dining instead of going the buffet. The food is better in restuarants.
We love the water. It is a refreshing area. We did the Jeep Adventure. It was fantastic, the Jeeps are old but they get you through the mud. We also Kayaked at Paradise Island. We are experienced Kayakers and had a blast there.
We did the Myan Ruins with shopping in Meridia. Our guide was very informative, he knew a lot of Mayan history. It was difficult ordering at the restuarant due to language barriors, but ended up with a great chicken lunch.
