We took an excursion so that’s why it got 5 stars. We did The White City (Mérida) and The Gold City Tour. Very nice tour, wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

It was ok... not as nice as Cozumel or as beautiful and did have people trying to sell you stuff... shopping was not as nice or clean stores and the port didn’t have much of a beach persay..... just ok

We did a private excursion, saw ruins, Cenote and ate at a Hacienda. Nothing much at the cruise terminal of interest. Surprised at the early departure and a little confusing on the ship time vs local time. Lots of passengers were caught off guard due to the recent time change.

There is a free shuttle you can take into Progresso to get into town. Be aware that you are about 2 miles away on a giant pier where the ship docks. We paid for a tour which took us in but you could easily walk on the beach and no one would question you.

We had alot of fun at this port but it had a long drive down the dock to the fun and no AC on the bus there and back when we went. It's kind of scary with all the MPs around

Didn't like this port. Not set up in town for cruise public. Stores by the ship were fine.

Long ride to get into town. Pretty dirty. Other than excursions, probably could be taken off the itinerary.
