This was my first cruise and also a birthday cruise for my sister. We had so much fun. Kevin the cruise director was the best and kept the party going. We got a chance to experience a lot of new things and met some wonderful people. We had so much fun that we are in the process of planning our next cruise lol...

The food was great, especially the main dining room and sea day brunch. The Lido was also good and Guy’s Burger Joint was on another level, sooo good.

The entertainment was very good throughout the ship, especially the band that was stationed right in front of the casino.

The waiters in the main dining room were the best and so professional. Also, my room steward Wayan was beyond nice, he really took care of us. I would have to say that the staff as a whole on the Valor was great.
Ship Quality

From what I was told it’s an older ship, but they kept it pretty clean during my cruise, I always saw attendants working hard. The design was kind of hard to get use too, but by the third day I pretty much knew what I was doing.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was pretty roomy and I really loved going out on the balcony in the mornings to drink my coffee and relax before I got my day started. Wayan was our room attendant and he was so nice and really took care of us.
Ship tip
The layout is kind of strange so please explore the ship, and try and be open to new things and people, we met some of the nicest people on this cruise and ate some delicious food.
We took an excursion so that’s why it got 5 stars. We did The White City (Mérida) and The Gold City Tour. Very nice tour, wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
@LTCruiser I read that one also, I was wondering what ship they were on because we enjoyed it. I guess some people just like to find the worst in everything.
Glad you enjoyed it. We loved the Valor. A recent review with a cabin near yours posted the ship needed to be retired, food wasn’t good, and rated most things one star. It’s amazing how people can experience the same thing and feel so differently.
